It is a blessing to be able to practice orthodontics. The opportunity to meet both adults and children and create beautiful smiles makes this a great profession. It is my goal to practice in a friendly, fun yet professional atmosphere, providing the highest quality of orthodontic care available. I have been proud to practice in Lafayette, IN since 1979.
Education and Experience
A native Hoosier, having grown up in Indianapolis the oldest of five children, I am a third-generation healthcare provider. Both my grandfather and father were ear, nose, and throat physicians. I graduated from Beloit College in Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1966. After college, I spent three years in the Navy as a Line Officer working on the staff of an Admiral. The following three years were spent in sales and sales management for Proctor and Gamble.
I attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and receiving Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1977. I spent the following two years at Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving specialized training in orthodontics. I completed my master’s thesis and in 1979, received a Master of Science degree in Dentistry and a Certificate of Orthodontics.
To ensure that I maintain superior skills and use the most current methods and materials, I place a high value on time spent in continuing education with my study club and at conferences with my peers.
